Like the others I used 6mm needles instead of the patterns smaller size.
Also, the fringe is made up of 5 strands folded.

it's beautiful! i got a hold of the pattern to make my own...but my fat fingers and novice knitting skills are making it very frustrating keeping track of the pattern. i think i'm doing fine then end up with an extra stitch at the end of a row!
